# Cut Traps: The Architecture for This Frame

## Layer 1: The Frame

The Cut traps respond to heavy barbell shrug loading. The neck-to-shoulder development completes the upper body.

The Cut at 135-160 lbs requires archetype-specific traps mechanics. The Meso-Endo/Mesomorph structure creates specific lever lengths and recruitment patterns that determine which movements produce mechanical tension and which produce compensation.

## Layer 2: The Anatomy

The mesomorph upper trap at this training age responds to barbell shrug loading at 60 to 70 percent of deadlift working weight. The visual development appears within 6 weeks. The mid and lower trap work from Y-T-W raises and face pulls completes the scapular stability the Cut frame's pressing load requires.

## Layer 3: The Protocol

Primary: Barbell shrug 3 to 4 sets of 8 reps with heavy loading. Secondary: Face pull 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps. Tertiary: Y-T-W raises 2 to 3 sets per letter. Frequency: twice weekly.

Volume landmarks: maintenance at 8 to 10 weekly sets. Growth threshold at 12 sets. Specialization at 16 to 20 sets. Add load only when the previous weight executes with full range and zero form breakdown.

## Layer 4: The Psychology

The Cut trap trained with heavy barbell shrugs produces the neck-to-shoulder visual presence that completes the upper body architecture.

Identity Mirror: What story are you telling yourself about why this muscle group has not responded?

Action Trigger: When exactly is your next traps session, and what load will you use on the primary movement?

## Layer 5: The Exit

The Cut traps built through heavy shrugs and face pulls for 12 weeks produce the structural power that makes the physique read as complete from every angle.

The Cut frame trained with archetype-specific traps mechanics for 12 consecutive weeks produces structural development that generic programming cannot deliver.
