# Colossus Quads: The Architecture for This Frame

## Layer 1: The Frame

Leg press and seated leg extension under physician guidance.

The Colossus at 325-375 lbs requires archetype-specific quads mechanics. The Endomorph structure creates specific leverage and recruitment patterns that determine which movements produce mechanical tension and which produce compensation.

## Layer 2: The Anatomy

The Colossus quad responds to leg press and seated leg extension at loads appropriate for this body weight. Machine mechanics eliminate the spinal loading of free weight squats entirely.

## Layer 3: The Protocol

Primary: Leg press 3 to 4 sets of 8 to 10 reps — verify equipment weight rating. Secondary: Seated leg extension 3 sets of 12 to 15 reps. Physician awareness recommended before initiating leg press at this body weight. Frequency: twice weekly.

Volume: maintenance at 8 to 10 weekly sets. Growth at 12 sets. Specialization at 16 to 20 sets. Add load only when previous weight executes with full range and zero form breakdown.

## Layer 4: The Psychology

The Colossus quad protocol uses machine mechanics that eliminate spinal loading. Equipment rating verification is a real safety step at this weight.

Identity Mirror: What story are you telling yourself about why this muscle group has not responded?

Action Trigger: When exactly is your next quads session, and what load will you use on the primary movement?

## Layer 5: The Exit

The Colossus quads trained through leg press and leg extension build the lower body functional capacity the transformation requires.

The Colossus frame trained with archetype-specific quads mechanics for 12 consecutive weeks produces structural development that generic programming cannot deliver.
