# Trim Neck: The Architecture for This Frame

## Layer 1: The Frame

Same structural need as the Ghost. The Trim frame builds neck circumference slightly faster.

The Trim at 100-115 lbs training neck requires archetype-specific mechanics. The Ecto-Meso structure at this weight creates specific lever lengths and recruitment patterns that determine which movements produce mechanical tension and which produce compensation. Wrong tool produces wrong adaptation.

## Layer 2: The Anatomy

The ecto-meso neck at this weight carries marginally more baseline muscle than the Ghost's but the same structural vulnerability — narrow cervical musculature relative to overall frame width. The direct neck work protocol is identical. The progression from no weight to plate resistance happens slightly sooner.

## Layer 3: The Protocol

Primary: Neck extension with plate 3 sets of 15 to 20 reps. Secondary: Neck flexion with plate 3 sets of 15 reps. Tertiary: Neck lateral flexion 2 sets of 12 reps per side. Frequency: twice weekly. Progress the plate weight when 20 reps feel controlled — not before.

Volume landmarks: maintenance sits at 8 to 10 weekly sets. Growth threshold begins at 12 sets. Specialization is 16 to 20 sets when neck is a priority. Progressive overload tracks load, reps, and execution quality. Add load only when the previous weight executes with full range and zero form breakdown across all working sets.

## Layer 4: The Psychology

The Trim neck trained twice weekly produces the cervical visual completion that most Trim programs omit. Build it deliberately.

Identity Mirror: What story are you telling yourself about why this muscle group has not responded?

Action Trigger: When exactly is your next neck session, and what load will you use on the primary movement?

## Layer 5: The Exit

Neck training at the Trim frame is structural integrity and aesthetic completion work. Both outcomes come from the same protocol.

The Trim frame that trains neck with archetype-specific mechanics for 12 consecutive weeks produces structural development that generic programming cannot deliver. The selection, execution cues, and volume landmarks are calibrated to this frame. That calibration is the difference between a muscle group that responds and one that does not.
