However the traditional battle ropes are nice as well. Adjustable dumbbells A cheap and more effective alternative to just using solid non-adjustable dumbbells. Ab wheel A cheap and super effective way of working your core. Weight bench Pair with the adjustable squat rack, this is a match made in heaven. In terms of versatility. Pull up bars The best kind you can get is the one you can hook in to the door without having to actually install it, with tools. Bosu ball Perfect for training the core. Yoga mat Perfect for doing anything on the ground. Ab sliders Cheap and easy way to attack the core. Barbell and weights These can get expensive over time but definitely worth the investment. Adjustable squat rack Paired with the weight bench, this is an excellent combo.
