Treadmills: What to avoid

Contrary to popular belief the treadmill is not the devils, handy work and neither is cardio. Cardio has its place, in any fitness regimen. However the main problem with cardio, much like weight lifting, it that people tend to go about it the wrong way. How do people perform, cardio wrong? They skip warm ups Don’t  stretch or cool down They don’t properly hydrate They push themselves beyond what they should do Treadmills : What to avoid If you’re reading and performing any form of cardio, you’re not pushing yourself, in a meaningful way hat will warrant change. Steep inclines, are unnecessary,  once you have to hold on the the treadmill for dear life, either your speed, incline or both will need to be adjusted. Don’t allow your posture to suffer on the treadmill. Always warm up stretch and cool down. Find out what your target heart rate should be, a good heart rate monitor, or even the one built in to most treadmills will help you gauge and determine what it should be.
